The CO2 Heater may be used in conjunction with a Titan Controls® CO2 Greenhouse Regulator or any other CO2 regulator system. Manufactured in USA with aluminum case and solid brass expansion chamber. I want to use a GFI (Ground Fault Interrupt) circuit to run my CO2 Heater. Is this possible?
No, you cannot use the CO2 Heater on a GFI circuit. The CO2 Heater grounds out using the metal chassis and will trip your GFI circuit because of this fact. It is recommended to plug the CO2 Heater directly into a standard 15 Amp/120 Volt household circuit.
Can I use an in-line CO2 Heater on a liquid propane tank?
No, due to the temperature difference between the liquid propane and the CO2 Heater can potentially be explosive. This is NOT recommended by the Manufacturer.
What is the maximum PSI (Pound force per Square Inch) that the CO2 Heater will handle?
The maximum PSI that the CO2 Heater is rated for is 1000 PSI (68.9 BAR). The CO2 Heater is intended for indoor use only and is NOT waterproof. Do not handle if it is wet. The temperature on the metal cylinder may exceed 175° F, so be cautious and do not touch the CO2 Heater when operating.
