Caution: Sulphur vaporization can damage your controller!
To protect your controller, it is important to disconnect and cover the Atlas 7 by wrapping with a plastic bag OR removing the controller from the grow area while using sulphur vaporizers in your grow room. Titan Controls can analyze and detect CO2 components that have been contaminated and damaged by sulphur vaporization. We reserve the right to not repair these defective units under warranty, however we will repair and return your Atlas 7 for a fee, if you would like.
What it the correct CO2 PPM level for my garden?
The Atlas 7 addresses that question well. It was developed based on common CO2 levels that most customers want to achieve in their grow rooms. The 1000 PPM/1250PPM/1500 PPM preset levels allows the user to get the most out of their CO2 system while providing their plants with just the right amount of CO2! Try the Atlas 7 at the different CO2 levels and see how your garden grows!
Does my Titan controller need to be calibrated?
No, your controller has been factory calibrated and is ready for service when you take it out of the box. Each unit will provide years of use and will maintain its settings without any further changes required. Please contact us at 888-808-4826, if you think that your calibration is not correct and we can help you out.
Atlas 7 Calibration Process:
  1. To Begin calibrating your Atlas 7 (outside in fresh air only), unplug the device and plug it back in, then wait for the device to warm up for approximately 30 seconds while all of the LEDs blink.
  2. Press and hold the green button for 5 seconds to enter set/calibrate mode. (The device is in the correct mode when all of the LEDs are on)
  3. Let go of the green button and all of the LEDs should turn off.
  4. After entering set/calibration mode, press the green button repeatedly to cycle through the CO2 PPM 1000, 1250, 1500, ending with the Output ON/Calibrate LED blinking.
  5. Press and hold the green button until the Output ON/Calibration LED goes solid and then let go of the button.
  6. The device will begin calibrating, and after successfully calibrating the Atlas 7, all three LEDs will flash four times.
  7. The Atlas 7 should now revert back to the CO2 PPM setting mode.
  8. The calibration is now complete and the Atlas 7 can now be programmed to the desired CO2 PPM setting
My CO2 monitor/controller is reading really high all the time. What's wrong with it?
We hear this a lot. The main issue is the 2000 ppm of CO2 we exhale when we're breathing. If you're in your room and you see that the ppm is high, leave the area for an hour or so and turn off your CO2 source, then peek your head in and check the reading, it should be reading under 1000 ppm depending upon how well your room is sealed. After observing your CO2 Monitor/Controller for awhile, you'll start to see what your normal ppm level is in your room. The normal outdoor ppm is 400 ppm to 600 ppm based on where you live (city vs. rural).
Should I run my CO2 at night?
No, you shouldn't. Plants photosynthesize CO2 only during the daylight hours. At night, the plants expire CO2 and have no use for CO2. So, save yourself some money and only dose CO2 during daylight hours when it does the most good for the plants.
